Tobacco is a thing that does not have a single point of quality. All that is very harmful and poisonous. Be it eating leaves or smoking. It's all poison! The person who is addicted to copper is in danger, at the same time others around him are also affected by its poisoning. Cigarette smoke causes memory loss along with other ailments.

Many people say, 'By playing Siddhi, intelligence increases'. Actually it is not. The outermost layer of the brain, the cortex (also known as gray matter), begins to gradually deteriorate under the influence of chemicals in cigarette smoke. A group of researchers from Edinburgh University and McGill University have found evidence that smokers have significantly less gray matter than non-smokers. And this outer layer of the brain is two-thirds of the total volume of the brain. Which is the most important part.

Professor Ian Deary, who led the research team, said the cortex or gray matter is the most developed part of the brain. This part is the control center for various mental development including our intelligence, thinking power, speaking and understanding, decision making ability. So when this part is damaged, overall intelligence decreases. And this is what cigarettes do. Cigarettes also increase the risk of loss of sense of smell.

He also said that the function of gray cells in the brain decreases a lot even in old age. If they are addicted to cigarettes, their condition becomes worse.

Cigarettes and the dangers they cause...

  • Sperm count decreases in men who smoke. Increases the risk of sperm deformity. It can also cause impotence. Smoking is one of the causes of male infertility.
  • Smoking reduces fertility in women, menstrual cycle can be irregular. Menopause approaches. Elevated susceptibility to additional cancers, such as cervical cancer.
  • Cigarette smoke is the most damaging to the airways and lungs. The upper lining of the airways is damaged. Along with colds, sneezing, coughs, there are frequent respiratory tract infections. Lung capacity is greatly reduced.
  • Carbon monoxide, hydrogen cyanide, tar, arsenic, cadmium, lead, many metals and various radioactive substances are present in cigarette smoke. 70 of these chemicals are carcinogenic.
  • Tobacco and cancer are almost synonymous. Chewing and smoking tobacco is one of the causes of cancer of nose, ear, throat, mouth and tongue as well as cancer of throat, larynx, lungs etc.
  • There exists a potential for a diminished sense of smell.
  • Cigarette increases blood pressure and heart rate.
  • Due to the increased constriction of the blood vessels, there is a risk of lowering the body temperature.
  • As the amount of oxygen in the blood decreases, the tendency of the blood to clot increases as the blood becomes sticky. Its net result is heart and brain attack.
  • Smoking also increases the risk of pneumonia and influenza.
  • The skin shows signs of aging long before the scheduled time.
  • Eye problems including increased risk of blindness.
  • The risk of gum and tooth disease is greatly increased.

After knowing these, it is entirely up to you to decide. Will you put yourself and others in danger by smoking cigarettes, or will you put yourself and your loved ones out of danger by quitting? Think about it.
